New Patients & Referrals

At TruCare, thoughtful care begins before the first appointment. Each new-patient referral is carefully reviewed to ensure that our practice is an appropriate setting for the patient's individual medical needs.

Getting Started

1. Request a Referral

New patients must be referred by their primary care provider. Your provider will need to submit a referral along with relevant medical history and supporting clinical information.

2. Clinical Review

Our team reviews each referral to better understand the patient's condition, treatment history, and medical needs. Additional information may be requested to complete the review.

3. Scheduling

Following clinical review, patients whose referrals are appropriate for TruCare may be contacted to discuss appointment availability.

For Referring Providers

Complete, informative referrals help us make thoughtful clinical decisions and minimize unnecessary delays.

Please include the patient's relevant medical history, pain diagnosis, previous treatments, current medications, and available supporting records.

All referrals are subject to clinical review. Scheduling does not guarantee the prescribing or continuation of any medication. Treatment decisions remain at the discretion of the evaluating physician.
